On Sunday 13th July Ian Weeks ran our Open Abseil Event at the Newport Transporter Bridge. Again twelve charities took part some of which also participated in the zip slide event.

Hi we had a gallant band of 8 abseiler chaps and chapesses who donned the harness and dangled precariously 53m above ground slowly descending back to Terra Firma. this managed to raise valuable funds to help continue the work towards very important clinical trials of safe treatments for the repair of spinal cord injury paralysis in NHS hospitals in just a few years time.
