Action packed weekend
We have been busy busy busy over the weekend. The St Mary's Abseil went great and we sent 75 people down the fab building in Sheffield.
At Baitings Dam we were lucky in the sunshine and would just like to thank Yorkshire Water for there help in the event.
We were so pleased that people really enjoyed both events. Our star of the weekend was Eric who was rasing money for Sheffield Royal Society for the blind. He was in his eightys and Abseiled at St Mary's and then went on to Baitings Dam on Sunday to Abseil again and Zip.
He was so special he was in the Sheffield Star on Monday night!!!

Liverpool Fun!
This weekend was spent Ziping and abseiling in the Mersey. The Zip on Saturday was 55metres from the Top of the Royal Liverpool Hospital. Craig the Big brother winner and now the DIY expert had a go.
The abseil was off the Mersey tunnel vents about 50metres. Some people enjoyed it so much they had booked two places so they could have two goes!!!

Even Carrie our favorite member of staff had a go. Here she is Abseilling with Ruth Owen from ARC.

Tyne Zip
We were all out the office this weekend and the majority of us went up to Newcastle to Zip nearly 400 people off the Tyne Bridge. We had such a great variety of fab fundraisers joining in, our oldest was an 88 year old!!!!!! It really got the open event programme off the ground for 2008 and we are all looking forward to our next event this weekend at the Riverwalk house in London.

Well Done Thales

Sat in the office this morning with some very tired staff after the big three peak challenge this weekend. I don't think they will be half as tired as the guys and girls who completed the challenge, especially those two teams who finished in less than 24hrs.
So congratulations to everyone but especially to teams Glasgow @Hampions who completed it in 23:45hrs and Ibuprofen who whizzed round in 23:24hrs. We hope that everyone isn't too sore this morning and they all enjoyed it as much as we did.
