On Sunday 13th July Adventure Challenge Events ran its first open abseil event at the Walsall New Art Gallery. We had a great day with four charities quickly 'snapping' up the available places. Lichfield and District Dog Training Society raised over £1,000 for Canine Partners! Two ladies also abseiled raising over £700 for the Air Ambulance!

Kings College Hospital Open Abseil Event
Also on Sunday 6th July we held our second open abseil event at the Kings College Hospital in conjunction with the hospital. Six charities were involved in the day including the Dystonia Society who raised over £1,000 from just four abseilers!

Marie Curie Cancer Care Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
Ian Loombe was back in the Yorkshire Dales this weekend this time to run the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Nearly 500 people braved the terrible weather on Saturday 5th July to do the walk, raising an amazing £125,000!

Back up North on the 29th June ACE provided an abseil for Marie Curie Cancer Care at the Rushcliffe Civic Centre.
Sick Childrens Trust Abseil at Riverwalk House
Ian Weeks then travelled to London to provide an abseil for the Sick Childrens Trust at Riverwalk House on Sunday 29th June.

What a wet weekend! On Saturday 21st June Adventure Challenge Events held its open abseil and zip slide event at Baitings Dam. The weather looked doubtful in the morning and then the heavens opened! Everybody still turned up smiling and enjoyed the event. Fourteen charities took part in the event which is great!
